Entry into force notes
This Joint Ministerial Order enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Joint Ministerial Order, consisting of 5 articles and one Annex, establishes the list of minimum allowable sizes and weights for fishing aquatic species within Timor-Leste's maritime territorial waters. The terms and concepts used in this Order have the meaning and legal value attributed to them in Decree-Law No. 6/2004 of 21 April and Government Decree No. 5/2004 of 21 July. The capture of the aquatic species listed in the attached Annex is punishable under the terms of article 161 of Decree-Law No. 6/2004 of 21 April, without prejudice to any criminal liability.
