Entry into force notes
This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Government Gazette.
Abstract

This Decision establishes Markets for organic producers. It specifies that the Directorate-General for Food and Organic Quality Systems of the of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food (AAT) is designated as the competent authority for the implementation of this Decision. The markets for organic producers are permitted to sell the following products, exclusively produced by the producers themselves and meet the requirements of quality hygiene and food safety, in accordance with the general provisions of Union and national food law and the relevant product case provisions of specific national and European legislation: a) Fruit and vegetables pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 543/2011 (L 157); b) Eggs; c) Other agricultural products such as olives, walnuts, chestnuts, pulses; d) Olive oil packaged in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 29/2012 (OJ L 012, p. 14) and Decision No. 323902/18.9.2009 (B 2026) of the Minister of Economy and Finance and the State Secretary for Rural Development and Food; e) Bottled wine, produced, bottled and labelled in accordance with the EU and national wine legislation in force; f) Standardized honey; g) Poultry that comply with food safety and hygiene rules in accordance with EU and national legislation; h) Aquaculture products; i) Distillation products, aromatic and medicinal plants, vegetable seedlings, fruit trees and vine plants; k) Artisanal products; l) Cured meats from livestock producers; m) Dairy products; n) Processed products, etc.
