Abstract

The Decree applies to waste deriving from construction and demolition, to the treatment, planning and accounting of the quantity of such waste. List and classification of waste, and quantity limits are contained in Annex 1. The provisions of Articles 8-11 do not apply to constructions where the quantity of resulting construction waste of any of the classification categories does not reach the limit value determined in Annex 1. Waste shall be separated and recycled when possible. Wastes that can not be re-used must be deposited in waste yards. A preliminary plan about the quantity and type of waste shall be worked out (Annexes 2 and 3). After the termination of works a register shall be filled in about the actual quantity of waste resulting from the activity of building or demolition (Annexes 4 and 5), and together with the receipt of the waste disposal yard, it shall be presented to the environmental protection authority.
