Abstract This Joint Decision creates the Commission for the Promotion of Ecotourism in Protected Areas. The Commission aims at regulating tourist activities without modifying the balance of the environment, coordinated by the Ministers of Environment and Tourism, assisted by the Secretaries of State for Biodiversity and Conservation and Tourism Areas. It is responsible for preparing the Strategy and Programme for any tourist activity, aimed at engaging national and foreign investors, tour operators and encouraging public and private investment.
