Chapter II establishes requirements for constitution of Markets and Market Committees. The Jharkhand Government may declare its intention of regulating the purchase, sale, storage and processing of such agricultural produce in specific area. The Jharkhand Government may declare the area specified in the notification to be a market area for the purposes of this Act in respect of all or any of the kinds of agricultural produce specified. Chapter III establishes the incorporation of Market Committee, its Objects, Powers and Duties Every Market Committee shall be a body corporate entitled to implement the provisions of this Act to provide facilities for marketing of agricultural produce and regulating the marketing of agricultural produce in any market area.
