The Federal Government shall establish a Wildlife Management Board (sects. 3 and 4). Restrictions on hunting are provided for in section 6. It shall also be prohibited to use hawks or dogs without a special licence (sect. 7). Sections 9-14 set out provisions on the possession of wild animals, trophies or meat including: certificates of lawful possession; transfer restrictions; import and export restrictions; trade restrictions. The Federal Government may declare any area under its property or over which it has proprietary rights to be a wildlife sanctuary, a national park or a game reserve. Unless in possession of a special authorization, the acts provided for in sections 20-22 shall be prohibited in the aforementioned areas. Final provisions concern offences and relevant penalties to be applied in case of contravention. The Federal Government may make rules for the purposes of carrying into effect the provisions of this Act. Full text English Website www.iucn.org
