Abstract The Standard is formulated in order to prevent soil, groundwater and agricultural product pollution, protect human health, ensure ecosystem preservation, and promote economic development. It regulates the qualification of the irrigation water, establishing measures and methods of sampling and analysis. This Standard is applicable for the irrigation water originating from surface water, groundwater, treated urban wastewater and industrial wastewater.
