Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 96/61/EC concerning integrated pollution prevention and control. The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the issue of permits for waste water discharge. The text consists of 8 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Applications forms (2); Minimum content of permit (3); Surveillance and control of the permit (4); Participation of the public and access to information (5); Transboundary authorities and public access to relevant information (6); Existing waste water discharges facilities and direct discharge (7); Entry into force (8).
