The present Law enters into force on 1 September 2008.

Abstract

The purpose of the present Law is to regulate the implementation of the federal legislation on environment and water protection. the text consists of 46 articles divided into 14 Parts as follows: Purpose (1); Waste (2); Contaminated locations (3); Damages (4); Protection of waters (5); Raw materials and soil (6); Urban waste (7); Air pollution (8); Noise protection (9); Further environment issues (10); Competences and proceedings (11); Further provisions on costs (12); Penalties (13); Transitional and final provisions (14).
