Mushrooms, depending on the quality, are divided into three commercial grades: the highest, the first and the second. Mushrooms must comply with the requirements of this standard and be prepared and packaged in consumer packaging according to the technological instructions in compliance with the requirements established by the regulatory legal acts of the state that has adopted this standard. Mushrooms must be packed in such a way as to ensure their proper preservation and safety. The packaging of mushrooms must be intact, strong, clean, dry, free from pests, and free of foreign smell. The materials used inside the package, including paper, ink, paint, glue used for printing or labelling, must be clean, non-toxic and ensure that their quality and safety are maintained when in contact with mushrooms. The contents of each package must be uniform and contain mushrooms of the same origin and species, quality, collection date, size (if sized). The packing of the mushrooms should be tight so that the mushrooms do not beat or rub, at the level with the edges of the container. The visible part of the product in the packaging must correspond to the contents of the entire packaging unit. In the package, it is not allowed the presence of foreign matter.
