It prescribes forms for application and a permit to import, export or re-export fauna listed in Appendix I, II or III of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora prescribe that where the export or import of a species listed in an Appendix to the Convention is subject to control under another law of the country, a licence or permit to export or import specimens of that species under that other law issued by the Conservator appointed under the Fauna (Protection and Control) Act 1966 and containing prescribed particulars, shall be deemed to be a permit under this Regulation. The Regulation also lays down forms for an application for a certificate and a certificate for the introduction of the sea of Appendix I, II and III species.
