Abstract

This Interministerial Order establishes the Wild Boar Plan. The National Plan for the Prevention, Control and Monitoring of Wild boar (Sus scrofa) in Brazil (Plano Javali) aims at controlling the territorial and demographic expansion of wild boar in Brazil and reducing their impact, especially in priority areas of environmental, social and economic interest. The Wild Boar Plan establishes actions for the prevention, control and monitoring of boar (Sus scrofa), in all its forms, lineages, breeds and different degrees of crossing with the domestic pig.
