These Provisions entered into force on 1 April 2019.
Abstract

These Provisions are enacted according to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalty, the Administrative Compulsion Law of the People's Republic of China, aiming at regulating the procedures for administrative punishments for market supervision and administration, guaranteeing the imposition of administrative punishments by the market regulatory departments according to the law, and protecting the lawful rights and interests of natural persons, legal persons and other organizations, and other laws and administrative regulations. The Provisions consist of 79 Articles divided into 7 Chapters: General Provisions; Jurisdiction; General Procedures for Administrative Punishments; Simple Procedures of Administrative Punishments; Execution and Closure of Cases; Period and Delivery; Supplementary Provisions.
