This Order enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Inter-ministerial Order, consisting of Chapters, creates the Permanent Committee for sustainable fishing of shrimps (CPG). It also approves the Regulation of this Committee (in Annex), consisting of 5 Chapters, aiming at assessing the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the Ministry of Environment in the sustainable fishing of shrimps within water under Brazilian jurisdiction. It specifies composition, duties and competencies of the above mentioned Committee, entitled to perform the following activities: design, asses, revise and propose activities related to management and promotion of sustainable fishing of shrimps; to elaborate, propose and monitor measures for management shrimps species; to contribute with analysis of information on shrimp fishing, including biological and ecological fisheries resources, etc.
