These instructions will enter into force immediately.
Abstract

These Instructions of the State Food Control Agency specify in detail the duties of inspection veterinarians in various stages of control of production of game meat: ante-mortem inspection; post-mortem inspection; killing of animals; marking with stamps, reporting. The inspection veterinarian shall be responsible for marking. These Instructions implement EC Council Directive 92/45/EC which forms part of the list of legislation which shall be implemented in Norway pursuant to the Agreement establishing a European Economic Area (Council Directive on public health and animal health problems relating to killing of wild game and the placing on the market of wild-game meat).
