Abstract

The present Regulation establishes the actions to be undertaken by fishing inspectors in the process of exposure violations and detention of the infringers of fisheries regulations and regulations on the protection of the stock of fish. Fishing inspectors are authorized to ask for explanations from officials of the institutions, enterprises, organizations, collective farms and individuals as regards violations by them of the fisheries regulations and regulations on the protection of the stock of fish, detain the infringers of the present Regulation for the purpose of their identification and drawing up reports, confiscate fishing gear, boats and vessels, as well as illegally caught fish and other aquatic animals and aquatic plants. In the process of carrying out official duties state fishing inspectors must be in uniform with badge and carry firearms, camera and binoculars. The document consists of 6 Secs. Section I lays down general provisions. Section II regards relations of the fishing inspectors with officials and citizens. Section III establishes the modalities of detention of the infringers of the fisheries regulations and the regulations on the protection of the stock of fish. Section IV regards operations spot-checks and the modalities of their realization. Section V regards detention of the infringers of the fisheries regulations and protection of the stock of fish from floating objects. Section VI regards self-defence and its application in the sphere of activity regarding protection of the stock of fish.
