These Instructions enter into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

These Instructions consist of 9 articles. Article 3 establishes the composition of the Advisory Committee, chaired by the Director of the Directorate of Veterinary and Animal Health, and article 4 defines its tasks as follows (i) nominate the inspectors and train them to apply the standards of animal welfare and animal handling; (ii) laying down plans and programs related to the application of animal welfare standards and the dealing with them; (iii) develop awareness programs for animal welfare; (iv) follow up and control the work of the inspectors in the field. The duties and powers of the inspector are listed in article 5. Under article 6 is formed the Inspectors Committee shall, chaired by a representative of the Ministry and with the membership of ؤommissioners of the Ministerو in accordance with Article 63 of the Law of Agriculture of 2015 and its amendments. Article 9 lists in detail the requirements that must be met to ensure the application of animal welfare standards, which concern (i) accommodation; (ii) nutrition; (iii) transportation; (iv) treatment; (v) slaughter; (vi) the breeding and reproduction; (vii) the hunt; (viii) the work; (ix) scientific experiments.
