Abstract Ligulesis and digrammosis are helminthos fish disease of carp species caused by plerocercoids of cestodes, ligule and digramma. Pathogens of the afore-mentioned disease parasitize in abdominal cavity of bream, sea-roach, crucian (carp), tench, silver bream, roach, , carp, silver carp and other fishes causing reduction of growth, partial or complete atrophy of intestines, especially gonads.
