Abstract

Viral haemorrhagic septicaemia is highly contagious disease affecting freshwater and marine fishes of different age groups pertaining to salmonides, Pleuronectiformes and herring (Clupediae). Disease is proceeding as epizooty and is characterized by development of septic process, plural haemorrhages in organs and tissue and mass destruction of fishes. The document consists of 7 Secs. Section 1 lays down general provisions. Section 2 regards aetiology. Section 3 regards epizootology. Section 4 regards clinical symptoms and patologo-anatomical changes. Section 5 regards diagnosis. Section 6 regards prophylaxis arrangements. Section 7 regards arrangements for combating disease.
