Abstract Philometroidosis is helmithos disease of carp, common carp (Cyprinus carpio, Catastomus carpio), their hybrids, crucian carp and other fishes. Pathogen of the afore-mentioned disease are viviparous roundworms (Nematodes), philometroides lusiana (for carps) and philometroides sanguinea (for crucian carp), pertaining to the family of philomtridae baulis et daubney. Philometroides are bio-helminthos, their development proceeds with the participation of intermediary host – some species of Cyclops. The document consists of 5 Secs. Section 1 lays down general provisions. Section 2 regards epizootology. Section 3 regards clinical symptoms and pathogenesis. Section 4 regards diagnosis.
