Abstract Myxoboliosis is invasion disease caused by micro-sporidia of the orderly Myxobolus, family myxobolidae, genera bivalvulea, class myxosporidia. Specific species for silver carps are M.pavlovskij, M.drjagini, M.phylloides, M.haemophilus and M.halus, while other genera of myxobolotuses are parasitizing in many freshwater fishes.
