Abstract The objective of this program is to determine the prevalence of Salmonella and to reduce it to the EU level. This program will be implemented at commercial broiler coops with 5000 or more actual capacity. Salmonella Pullorum and Salmonella Gallinarum are not included to the program. The list showing the number of broiler operations, coops and sampling coops by the provinces is given in Annex 1 to this instruction. All broiler coops will be classified in accordance to the table provided in the instruction. Criteria for selecting the sampling coops and sampling procedure are detailed.
