Abstract

The Instruction establishes that fishing inspections shall submit to the Office of Public Prosecutor reports of the violations of the fisheries rules, regulations and legislation within three days from the date of exposure thereof. Reports must contain the following documentation: (a) covering letter stating the offence, evaluating the amount of damage and containing the personal data of the offender; (b) description of the location, date and time of the offence, illegal fishing gear and fishing methods, and the quantity of catch; (c) description of fish species and the damage caused thereto by the illegal fishing gear; (d) decision by the head of the fishing inspection on filing of a claim for the compensation of damage; (f) written statement of the offender.
