Abstract

This Article of the Agriculture and Markets Law of New York concerns inspection and sale of seeds. More specifically, it provides for label requirements of all seeds, including lawn-seeding mixtures; responsibility for labeling; prohibitions existing in the sale or transportation of seeds; exemptions from the provisions of this Article; tolerances in comparisons between the label and the tests; samples and publication of results of tests; submitting seeds for testing; certification of seed; and the authority of the Commissioner to issue regulations and stop sale orders.
