Abstract

These Regulations, made under section 37 of the Inland Waters Shipping Act, provides with respect to the manner of ascertaining tonnage and dimensions of vessels destined to navigate on inland waters. The tonnage of a vessel built outside Malawi and reassembled in Malawi shall be the gross tonnage as determined by the builders.
