Abstract

These Regulations, made under section 37 of the Inland Waters Shipping Act, implement provisions of that Act relative to (an application for) survey and registration and the marking of ships. The Regulations, among other things, set out procedures for registration and the content of registration. A central registry of vessels shall be established and maintained at the Ministry. The identity mark allocated to a vessel shall not be required to be exhibited by a vessel of over fifty tons.
