Abstract

The present Act lays down comprehensive provisions relating to some aspects of private law in inland navigation. The text consists of 133 articles divided into 10 Chapters as follows: Ship Owners (I); Shipper (II); Ship's Crew (III); Freight Business, Ship Lending Agreement (IV); Transportation of Passengers and Luggage (V); Damages (VI); Collision of Ships (VII); Ship Creditors (VIII); Statute of Limitation (IX); Final provisions (X). Articles 28 to 76, Articles 79 to 91, Articles 94 to 101 and Articles 106, 112, 132 and 133 are deleted.
