Abstract

These Notices of the Prime Minister designate infested areas for purposes of Diseases of Plants Regulations and appoint all District or Town Officers in an infested area as inspectors for the purpose to carry out inspections on any local vessel preparing to set sail from places situated within a District or Town Officers' jurisdiction. The inspectors shall ensure that the vessels inspected are free from pests and shall consequently issue the persons in charge of such vessels with a certificate in the form prescribed in Schedule V to the Diseases of Plants Regulations.
