Abstract

These Regulations set forth the criteria for the recognition of breeders' associations, for registering cattle in herd books and the acceptability conditions for bovine reproduction. A breeders' association which maintains or establishes herd books, in order to be officially recognized, must meet the criteria prescribed in article 3. For registering in the main section of the herd book of its breed, the animal must meet the conditions of Article 4. Article 5 provides for the conditions for pure-bred bulls to be used for reproduction.
