Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Clean Energy Act. Section 17.1(1) of the afore-mentioned Act establishes that a prescribed public utility must establish and maintain a programme to offer financing to eligible persons for improving the energy efficiency of a building, or a part of a building, owned or occupied by a borrower. In particular, the Regulations lays down provisions relating to modalities of financing on behalf of such public utilities. The text consists of 10 sections.
