Abstract

The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for kiwi fruits. This standard applies to vegetables of the variety (cultivar) of Actinidia chinensis and Actinidia deliciosa, to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Kiwis intended for industrial processing are not covered by the present regulations. This standard defines also the minimum quality requirements to be met by kiwi fruits after preparation and packaging, classification, sizing, packaging and presentation, marking and labelling.
