Abstract

The provisions of the present regulations are applied to hazelnut pith to be exported -of the varieties of Corylus avellana L., Corylus maxima Mill. and their hybrids- that are intended to be disposed for human consumption in fresh condition. Export is allowed provided that the final product to be placed onto the market fulfils the terms of the present text. In particular, these regulations set forth standards regarding qualitative categories ("extra", "I" and "II" categories), characteristics of qualitative categories, minimum quality standards, classification at size, packing and appearance, labelling.
