Abstract

Any person who intends to import hatching eggs and poultry chicks into Malta shall give to the Director responsible for the veterinary service a written notice in the format set out in the Second Schedule attached to these Regulations. The Director may, at his discretion, accept such notice as he may deem reasonable. In addition, the Director may order a limited quantity of imported poultry chicks or hatching eggs. Regulation 5 sets out penalties.
