Abstract

These Regulations provide for measures for the control of foot-and-mouth disease. They regulate, in respect of Scotland, a wide variety of matters regarding trade in and handling of live animals, handling and storage of reproductive material, trade in and handling of meat and slaughtering. These matters include: (a) the movement and export of live animals; (b) the export of meat from bovine, ovine caprine and porcine animals and other biungulates; (c) the marking of meat not eligible for export;
