Entry into force notes
These implementing Rules and Regulations enter into force 15 days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation and 15 days after registration in the Office of the National Administrative Register.
Abstract

These Rules and Regulations implement Executive Order 79 with the aim to ensure mining’s contribution to the country’s sustainable development, adopt international best practices, ensure the protection of the environment, ensure the consistency of local issuances with the Constitution and national laws, deliver efficient and effective management of the mining sector.
