Abstract These implementing Rules and Regulations shall apply to all establishments, premises and facilities that are producing, processing, manufacturing, handling, storing, transporting, selling, distributing, using and disposing the fertilisers, pesticides, heavy metals, chemicals, biological agents and pollutants, radioactive materials, food additives, products emitting ionising and ionising radiation and other products and by-products that may cause harm to public health. The Regulation provides for procedure on health sensitive project and project location, environmental impact assessment, control and mitigation measure and health and sanitation information. The local health authority is in charge of issuance of the sanitary permit. The sanitary requirements include food and drinks, solid waste management, vermin control, sewage collection and disposal, toilet facilities and change rooms. The Regulation further provides for sanitary requirements for personnel and health care systems. Finally the Regulation refers to the responsibilities of the relevant authorities, investigation and penal provision. This Regulation consists of 16 Sections.
