Abstract The present Ordinance implements the Veterinary Ordinance of 26 October 2011. Article 1 establishes that according to federal legislation compensation for loss of animals shall be denied if, inter alia, the sick animals were not given the necessary treatment and care; and if veterinary findings to confirm the diagnosis are missing.
