Abstract

These Rules establish the minimum requirements for the identification and registration of animals, by way of implementation of the provisions laid down under Council Directive 92/102/EEC. Any keeper of swines or bovines shall keep a register stating the number of animals present on the holding. General principles applicable to identification marks are laid down as well.
