The principal Regulations and the present Regulations shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Hygiene and Official Control of Foodstuffs Regulations of 2006-2011. The regulations are issued with the aim of better implementing paragraph 2, article 6 to Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs, as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 219/2009. Therefore, Regulations 3 and 4 to the principal Regulations are amended as laid down herewith. The first Annex is repealed.
