Abstract The present Act enforces the Wildlife Act, 1998 (S.S. 1998, c. W-13.12) and the Fisheries Act Fisheries Act (Saskatchewan), 1994 (S.S. 1994, c. F-16.1). In particular, section 4 of the present Act designates the 15 November in each year as “Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Heritage Day” in Saskatchewan. This is a special day to celebrate and recognize the significant economic, cultural and social contribution that hunting, fishing and trapping have made to the province.
