Abstract The present Act applies to wildlife management, the right to hunt, and hunting within Swedish territory etc. The Act contains 54 sections divided into the following chapters: Introductory provisions; Wildlife management; Hunting right holders; Transfer of hunting rights; Granting of hunting rights in certain cases; The right to hunt certain animals; Bird ringing; Game that belongs to the state; Obligation to notify; The authority of the police in certain cases; Hunting; Game breeding; The Wildlife Conservation Board; Knowledge testing etc.; Fees; Hunting supervisors; Supervision; Proceedings in courts; Responsibility; Authorizations; Appeals; Transitional provisions.
