The present Act enters into force on 1 August 1985.
Abstract

The objective of this Act is to establish the basic legal framework for hunting in Åland. The Act contains 75 Sections divided into the following Chapters: 1. General provisions; 2. Hunting rights; 3. Exercise of hunting rights; 4. Introduction of game and construction of game fences; 5. Shooting season; 6. Hunting for the purpose of preventing harm and nuisance; 7. Hunting for deer and moose; 8. Supervisions of dogs and cats; 9. Capture gear and capture methods; 10. Possession of game and trade in game; 11. Hunting license; 12. Hunting authorities and hunting conservation associations; 13. Penality provisions; 14. Special provisions.
