The fishing vessels have to accept and facilitate boarding and inspection carried out pursuant to this measure. The text provides that each CCP shall, by 1 September 2019 notify the Executive Secretary of two contact points for the purposes of receiving and sending notifications. The text further outlines provisions for priorities of boarding for inspecting a vessel flying flag of a CCP; procedures on participation of the Contracting Party in inspection activities; restrictions on the use of force and restrictions on the carriage and use of arms. Authorised Inspectors shall be required to prepare a full report on each boarding and inspection they carry out under this measure. The text further describes the serious violations; enforcement of reports; annual obligation for reporting and claims for damages. The text further provides provisions relating to the non-CCPs and meeting of the parties and dispute settlement. The CMM consists of 57 Articles and has 3 Annexes.
