Abstract

This relates to hides and skins for consumption. The Law empowers the Commissioner for Agriculture to make regulations relating to the method of flaying, drying and preparation of hides and skins and providing for the appointment and payment of instructors, regulating and restricting the purchase, removal and transport of hides and skins and providing for the degree of dryness they shall posses, generally for maintaining or improving the quality of hides and skins, amongst others. This Law also contains a subsidiary legislation detailing the process of collecting and preparing hides and skins.
