Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the public health and veterinary service, food and consumer protection and food survey. The purpose of the Law is to conserve and promote the public health system in respect of both humans and animals, as well as consumer protection in view of health and food. In particular, the Law regulates the resonsibilities of the competent authorities for public health, veterinary, food and consumer protection. The text consists of 4 sections as follows: General provisions (I); Tasks, competences and resulting obligations (II); Ethic Commission (III); Data protection and data transmission (IV); Transitional and final provisions (V).
