Abstract

This Regulation, issued by the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, consists of 14 articles and gives health rules and conditions for foodstuff stores. It provides for a necessary municipal license, store location and workers uniforms. The Regulation also provides for: foodstuff arrangement according to the validity dates; waste, decayed and expired foodstuff; precautionary measures to prevent the entry of direct sunlight, rainwater and flooding; stores designated for liquid and fresh foodstuff; storage of chemicals, pesticides, detergents and other substances. Specific conditions are provided for refrigerated or frozen foodstuff stores and for non-frozen and non-chilled foodstuff stores.
