Abstract

This Regulation, issued by the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, consists of 24 articles and gives health rules and conditions for coffee shops divided in different kinds, namely: ordinary, local and mobile coffee shops. General provisions include: a necessary municipal license; location and details for interior decor; equipment, including a permanent source of filtered hot and cold water and wastewater drainage system. It also gives regulations for workers, such as health card, annual medical examination, uniforms and head-dresses, personal cleanliness. Specific measures are provided for foodstuff items, utensils, customers’ area and area of the sandwich and beverage preparation. Mobile coffee shops are allowed to serve only sandwich and some kinds of hot/cold drinks. The regulation prohibits the sale of non-mineral water for drinking.The concerned municipality shall determine the parking area for these coffee shops.
