Abstract

These Regulations make provision with respect to a wide variety of matters for which regulation-making powers were granted to the Administrator under the Health Act 1913. These matters include: sewerage, removal of garbage, protection of domestic water supplies, notifications regarding wells, the keeping of animals and domestic birds, prevention of spreading of animal diseases, and pollution control in general. Construction of a well requires approval of the Administrator. The Administrator may prohibit use of water for reasons of public health.
