Abstract

The present Regulation enacts section 14 of the Agricultural Produce Grading Act. Section 2 establishes that no person who hatches chicks or offers chicks for sale or does custom hatching shall operate a hatchery unless that hatchery has been registered under this Regulation. The text consists of 10 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Hatchery registration (2); Hatchery operations (3); Brooding (4); Packing and marking (5); Agents and brokers (6); Sales and advertising (7); Hatchery supply flock policy (8); Detention (9); Offence (10). One Schedule is enclosed.
