Abstract

The present Ordinance enforces the Water Law of Baden-Württemberg and the Directive 2005/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on harmonized river information services (RIS) on inland waterways in the Community of 7 September 2005. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to transport and transhipment in ports in Baden-Württemberg. The text consists of 73 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Provisions common to all ports (1); Special provisions for ports where hazardous goods are transported and transhipped (2); Provisions on harmonized inland navigation information services in inland ports (3); Specific provisions for individual ports (4); Exceptions, penalties and final provisions (5).
